SB 1115 Animal Blood Bank Bill Passes California State Senate!

Sacramento, CA – June 24, 2020 – Senate Bill 1115, by Senator Scott Wilk (R-Santa Clarita), was unanimously passed by the California State Senate today. SB 1115 will allow animal commercial blood banks to produce blood from community-sourced donor animals and eventually phase-out the closed-colony production model.
