The California Cruelty-free Cosmetics Act
The California Cruelty-free Cosmetic Act is the landmark bill which made California the first state to ban the sell of cosmetics and personal hygiene products which had been tested on animals by the manufacturer or their suppliers on or after January 1, 2020. The bill has been replicated by 6 states and Mexico.
