Need Your Calls This Week!

AB 416(Kalra), the California Deforestation-free Procurement Act, will be voted on in the Senate Appropriations Committee this week.

Please make three calls to let the Chair, Vice Chair, and the Senate Pro Tem know that it is critical to pass AB 416 this year! There is absolutely no time to wait. We must get this responsible, common sense policy on the books so that our state government’s purchasing does NOT contribute to tropical deforestation!
